萊利律師從青少年時期即開始對法律產生興趣，並在複雜的地產訴訟事宜上協助其父母。
多年之後，他獲得法律博士學位，並開展其訴訟律師之執業生涯，他在諸多範疇均有涉略，包括人身傷害、勞工賠償及業主與租客法等。在此期間，萊利律師也不斷地在法庭訴訟及仲裁程序的專業上精益求精。
萊利律師在商業領域中經驗豐富，曾在美國本土及海外公司擔任企業高管，同時也在商業航空界的重要大型公司中擔任法律顧問。這些經歷使得萊利律師在企業管治與國際金融的運作都有深刻的見解。
萊利律師也具有稅務法碩士學位(MST)，在獲得此學位後他開始從事稅務法及破產法的相關法律服務，這也促成了古士拿律師成為本所特邀律師的契機。
萊利律師在數間知名大學法學院及大學部教授法律課程多年。他曾在皮爾斯學院教授公民權課程26年，並由於他對於商業法規的深度了解，目前也在皮爾斯學院擔任商業法的講師。萊利律師並在過去數年間於許多中國的大學院校中教授法律。他是鄭州大學法學院首位來自外國的授課法學教授。他也曾在全中國法學院中排名頂尖的中國人民大學法學院主持美國憲法專題之研究生研討會。此外他在中國人民大學國際學院蘇州研究院、復旦大學法學院、南開大學、天津財經大學都作過專題演說。2014年，萊利律師在中國無錫市的江南大學法學院授課，教授美國民權法。近來他並擔任上海財經大學法學院的訪問學者，對中國及來自歐洲的學生講授美國憲法，他的課程在上海財經大學提供的所有課程中的評價為最頂尖的5%，而上海財經大學在全中國的財經專科大學排名中也名列前矛。

Larry M. Kushner first became interested in the law as a teenager, assisting his parents with complex real estate construction litigation. Years later, after receiving his Juris Doctor Degree he began his law practice as a litigator in a variety of practice areas, such as, personal injury, worker compensation and landlord tenant law. During this time Mr. Kushner became quite skilled in his court room practice as well as arbitration procedures.
Mr. Kushner has a great deal of business experience. He has been a corporate executive in both domestic and foreign corporations as well as legal counsel for an important multi-million dollar corporation in the commercial aircraft industry. These positions gave him insights on the workings of corporate governance and international finance.
Mr. Kushner holds a Master of Science in Tax Law Degree (MST). After earning the MST Degree he began a tax and bankruptcy practice for a number of years. This practice resulted in an “Of Counsel” relationship with the Law Offices of Sam Wu.
Mr. Kushner has for many years has been instructing law at the level college and several major university law schools. He taught civil rights law at Pierce College for 26 years. Due to his in depth business law experience he is now an Instructor of Business Law at Pierce College. Over the period of time of the last few years Mr. Kushner has been lecturing on the law at a number of universities in China. He was the first foreign Law Professor to lecture at the Law School of Zhengzhou University. He conducted a graduate seminar on American Constitutional Law at the Law School of Renmin University of China. The Law School of Renmin University is always top rated in China. Additionally, he presented a series of lectures at the International Research Institute of Renmin University in the city of Suzhou. He, also, has presented lectures at the Law Schools of Fudan University, Nankai University, and Tianjn University of Finance and Economics. During 2014 Mr. Kushner was an instructor of Law at the Law School of Jiangnan University in the city of Wuxi China, where he taught American Civil Rights Law. More recently, Mr. Kushner was a Visiting Scholar at the Law School of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). He taught classes on American Constitutional Law at SUFE to both Chinese and European students. His classes were ranked in the top 5% of all the classes offered at the university. Also, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is rated as the top university in China for subjects of Finance and Economics.
